All of the remaining Indiegogo bikes are arriving to the USA headquarters for our standard pre-ship testing and inspection. We will continue to ship all the IGG units until they are all filled. All European orders are on the way as well and will be shipping immediately after Chinese New Year.
Back at the factory we are already starting on post crowd-funded units with the goal of increasing build quality, building up inventory and getting the bikes in stock to ship as soon as you place your order.
Crowd-funding has some special challenges, but it very definitely got these bikes into mass production much faster than through traditional methods. Some additional advantages is that we could listen to the customer’s demands and adjust in near real time.
