Because we've been so immersed in HyperScorpion production this past week, we have a slight change to our current update schedule. Instead of sharing a video today, I’ll provide a short update and then share a more comprehensive Hyper video over the Memorial Day weekend.
After more than a year of extensive development, design and engineering work, we are thrilled to announce the HyperScorpion is now IN PRODUCTION and will be ready to ship to our San Diego HQ very soon. Again, I’ll have video footage of the first production HyperScorpion in the next few days. Here’s a sneak peek of a finished Hyper (with the tall seat accessory).
Orders from Indiegogo backers who purchased the black Scorpion are shipping this week. We are processing these e-bikes on a first-ordered, first-shipped system. So, if you ordered a Scorpion in the first few days of the Indiegogo campaign, you’ll be receiving your bike in the next 7-10 business days. Some backers, especially those in California, will be getting their new Scorpions next week! The arrival of our first batch of blue Scorpions was initially scheduled for this week. Unfortunately, due to persistent delays at most Southern California ports, this shipment experienced a very minor delivery delay and is now set to arrive right after the Memorial Day holiday. We are very confident the blue Scorpions will begin shipping to Indiegogo backers next week. IMPORTANT REMINDER… our first shipments of the blue Scorpion include spoke wheels. If you purchased a blue Scorpion from Indiegogo or directly from JuicedBikes.com before March, then your new bike will have spoke wheels (orders for blue Scorpions placed after March will have mag wheels).
Now that Scorpions are arriving on a weekly basis to our San Diego HQ, we will be working hard to ship them out as quickly as possible. We are grateful for your patience as we transition into the order fulfillment phase of the Scorpion campaign.
