It’s been a really exciting week at our San Diego HQ - the first shipment of black HyperScorpions arrived yesterday! We are inspecting the bikes today and will begin shipping to our early Indiegogo backers Monday morning.
We are expecting the blue and brushed aluminum HyperScorpions to arrive in early July. We’ll basically be shipping Hypers non-stop for the next 4-6 weeks. I can’t wait to get these in the hands of our IGG backers and pre-order customers. It’s such a fun and exciting ride!
The Tall Seat accessory also arrived yesterday and we’ll be shipping out early next week. Please remember, these will be shipped as a separate accessory, so you likely will not receive the Tall Seat with your e-bike delivery.
As of this morning, here is the shipping status for all of the Scorpion and HyperScorpion e-bikes:
Black Scorpion: All Indiegogo orders have shipped. We have also finished shipping pre-orders placed through May and the first few days of June. By next week, we expect all Scorpion pre-orders to be filled. Now that we are moving from pre-order to AVAILABLE NOW status for the Scorpion, the current pre-order discount will be expiring very soon. If you’re thinking of purchasing another Scorpion, now is a very good time to do so… save $300 without having to wait too long for delivery!
Blue Scorpion: All Indiegogo orders have been shipped, and we have shipped nearly all of the blue Scorpions with spoke wheels. We’re now shipping the final Scorpions with spoke wheels and the mag wheel version (for orders placed March-May). Our goal is to fill all orders for blue Scorpions by July 6th or 7th (possibly earlier).
Black HyperScorpion: The first batch is in San Diego and will be shipping on 6/29 and 6/30. If you’re scheduled to receive one of the first Hypers, you’ll receive an email with shipping confirmation very soon. We are processing orders using a first-ordered, first-shipped system. The next batch of black HyperScorpions is scheduled to arrive in early July.
Blue & Brushed Aluminum HyperScorpions: Our first containers of blue and brushed aluminum HyperScorpions are scheduled to arrive the week after the July 4th holiday. Once these are inspected, we’ll start shipping to Indiegogo backers on a first-ordered, first-shipped system.
We’re still on schedule to ship ALL HyperScorpion Indigogo orders and MOST pre-orders by the end of July. Customers that pre-ordered a HyperScorpion in May/June will likely receive their bikes in August.
Next Friday is a holiday for our U.S. team, so we won’t be posting another update until July 10. When we return, we’ll have more updates on HyperScorpion shipping estimates and ETAs for the Passenger Kit and the Off-Road Throttle Upgrade.
