This week’s update is primarily focused on the new HyperScorpion. We shipped our first container last week, and will have several hundred more Hypers shipping over the next couple of weeks (including the blue and brushed aluminum models). We’re still on schedule to begin shipping to our early Indiegogo backers at the end of this month. Shipments to all Indiegogo supporters and pre-order customers will continue through July.
It’s been a busy week producing, inspecting and shipping bikes, but I was able to finish a comprehensive overview of the new HyperScorpion. As I’ve previously said, this is the best bike we’ve ever produced and I can’t wait for our customers to experience the elevated performance of this new electric bike.
I’m also thrilled to report our team has completed ALL e-bike shipments to Indigogo backers who ordered the black Scorpion. We’re now shipping to pre-order customers who purchased their black Scorpions directly on our website.
The blue Scorpions with spoke wheels are currently being shipped to our early backers! We’ll continue shipping this week and next week, with some lucky customers receiving their new blue Scorpions as early as this weekend. Blue Scorpions with mag wheels are tentatively scheduled to arrive at our San Diego HQ in mid-June and should start shipping to pre-order customers by the end of the month.
